I'm Sultan, a young independent jewelry designer and maker. I design my own models and produce them myself at my atelier, Atelier Sultan, in Bodrum. I use 925 sterling silver in all my designs, and I believe silver is the gold of the future.

For this necklace, I used a reproduction of an ancient Roman coin featuring the bee motif, adorned with a vibrant red Cubic Zirkon stone. The bee has been one of the most powerful symbols in Anatolian and ancient Greek civilizations — representing diligence, royalty, and the sacred, most notably as the symbol of Artemis in Ephesus. The red Cubic Zirkon adds a bold accent symbolizing passion and vitality. This pendant measures 14 mm wide on a 54 cm chain, crafted in 925 sterling silver. Upon request, it is also available in solid gold or solid silver.

I create pieces in 24K gold plating, plain silver, and oxidized/darkened (rustic) silver. I work with stones such as lapis, turquoise, pearl, and coral, as well as antique coin reproductions. I draw inspiration from ancient Roman, Greek, and Anatolian art and museum pieces. All my products are entirely handmade and not mass-produced.
